INTERIOR GLASS RESURFACING
Interior Window Resurfacing Creates A New, Updated Look
As a building ages, many features become dull and lackluster. Windows are one such feature. No amount of Windex seems able to restore them to their original luster. We offer interior window resurfacing options using custom window films, that will make them look better than new. We can also give them a whole new custom-colored look.
These custom films can add a bit of a tint, or some new luster. Think of rose-colored glasses for your windows! If you are redecorating or remodeling the building, but there is nothing actually wrong with the functionality of the windows—they are just tired looking—we have window films that will give them a whole new glow.

How It Works
As windows age, they begin to lose their luster and shine. In some cases, it may not be practical to replace windows and even when possible, doing so would require an extraordinary amount of funds. Instead of replacing windows, you can use window film for interior glass resurfacing. Window film is a great option for resurfacing all sorts of interior glass including glass walls, room dividers, floor to ceiling glass, and more. Not only can it be installed quickly without any construction or structural changes, but it’s also much more affordable than window replacement. Once it’s done, your windows will look shiny and beautiful like they did years ago. And, as a bonus, they’ll also be much easier to clean since window films are not nearly as porous as glass and do not collect dust as quickly.
Benefit Details
Window Replacement Alternative
Removing and replacing windows is a time-consuming business. It could mean countless hours of construction and interruptions to your day to day operations. Not only will you have a construction crew crowding your space, but you’ll have to deal with all the noise and mess as well. Instead of replacing windows, you can use window film to refinish interior glass and make it look like new. Your windows will look shiny and new once again and you’ll save tons of money in the process!
Energy Efficiency
Installing window film not only makes your interior glass look beautiful, it also improves its energy efficiency. With window film, windows are given the same insulating power as triple and double pane windows. As a result, many businesses are able to cut back on their energy expenses by up to 30% each calendar year. Your commercial building will become much more energy efficient and comfortable too!
Low Maintenance
Retrofitting interior glass with window film can also make it easier to clean and maintain. Glass is very porous and therefore collects dirt easily. Window film, on the other hand, is much less porous, so dirt does not accumulate on its surface the same way. You won’t have to clean the glass nearly as often and when you do, it will be much easier and faster to do.

Heat & Glare Reduction Window Film FAQ
The best window films for heat rejection are spectrally selective, low-e, and ceramic window film. All of these window films will provide high rejection without blocking natural light. The window film that is best for you all depends on your situation. If your building is located in a dual climate region that experiences cold winters and warm summers, we recommend low-e window film. If summer heat is your primary concern, then spectrally selective or ceramic window film may be good options.
Yes, there is. Not all window films have a “tinted” look. Today, there are many clear options made by various manufacturers. Some products we recommend include 3M Prestige Series, Huper Optik Select Series, Solar Gard Panorama CX, and LLumar Ceramic Window Film.
Yes, but not all window films have this functionality. Some only block heat. However, there are four season window films that are designed specifically for this purpose. These films, called low-e window film, are designed to prevent heat loss during the winter and prevent heat gain during the summer.
Window films have come a long way over the years. Today, some of the most powerful anti-glare window films can reduce glare by as much as 95%.
There are lots of great options when it comes to glare reducing window film for businesses. Some of our favorite brands are 3M, LLumar, and Vista, among others. If you would like a recommendation on glare reduction film, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
A tinted film may block a very small amount of light. However, this is such a tiny percentage that it’s unlikely that you’ll even be able to tell the difference. So, no; window film will not make your office dark inside.
That’s a great question! There are lots of places that sell heat and glare reducing window films. You can even buy them online. But be careful! Window film installation is not for amateurs. If you do it wrong, you could ruin the film or, worse, damage your windows. Truly, it’s best left to the pros. We’d be happy to walk you through your options and install window film for your commercial building.
